These are completely vegan, the 'leather' is made from apples and even the individual components like the glue is vegan. How do tariffs work?
Will there be tariffs on my order?
From May 2nd, 2025, new rules mean that tariffs will apply to Snag parcels containing items made in China, even if it's just one item. This is because the de minimis threshold (which used to allow orders under $800 to pass through tariff-free) is being removed.
From August 01st 2025, an updated EU / US Tariff Agreement will apply a 15% tariff to any items made in the European Union (EU). Due to the de minimus threshold, orders under a value of $800 should pass through without tariffs.
From August 29th 2025, the de minimis threshold will be removed, meaning that shipments of any value will be subject to tariffs.
How much are the Tariffs?
Tariffs are charged per item at a rate depending on where the item was made. Products made in China like our swimwear and smoothwear are charged a 145% tariff. Products made in the EU like our tights are charged a 15% tariff. Products made in Turkey like our leggings and skirts are also charged a 15% tariff.
IMPORTANT - Until 29th August 2025, Tariffs only apply if you have at least one item in your order that is made in China. If your order doesn't contain any products made in China, the de minimis still applies and you will NOT be charged tariffs.
From 29th August 2025, the de minimis no longer applies and tariffs will apply to all shipments entering the USA.
When am I charged the Tariffs?
Tariffs are charged by US Customs when your Snag order enters the United States. Snag doesn't add anything to the cost of your order related to tariffs.
How do I pay the Tariffs?
When your Snag order arrives in the United States the courier company (Exelot) will contact you by email to tell you how much you need to pay and how to make the payment. Most courier companies also charge an administrative fee for processing the tariffs. Snag has no control over these fees.
Any concerns regarding any payment should be directed to the courier company (Exelot) for assistance.
What if I don't pay the tariffs?
US Customs won't let your order into the country unless you pay the tariff. If you don't pay the tariff your order will eventually be sent back to our warehouse in the UK. Once it's returned our team will contact you to see how you want to proceed.
How do I know its not a Scam?
Any requests for Tariffs should come from Exelot, the courier we use to transport your orders to the USA. Exelot may reach out directly with regards to any Tariff payments due.
Unfortunately lots of scammers are trying to take advantage of the confusion around the tariffs, so please be careful. If you receive a message about tariffs on your Snag order and you have any doubt at all, please contact hello@snagtights.com to check that it's genuine. Snag can't take responsibility for any mistaken payments.

How long does delivery take?
Delivery times depend on which option you choose at checkout. Here are the typical estimates for US orders:

Where do you ship from?
All US orders ship directly from our US fulfilment centre!
We're a UK company, but since the US is home to so many of our Snagglers (a full third of our business!), we run a dedicated warehouse there. This means you get your order much faster and with no extra customs fees.
We send over essential shipments to keep that warehouse stocked. If you ever see an item is sold out, it’s usually just because the next restock is on its way. As soon as it arrives, it will come live on the site!
